Prior to delivery, I acquire the Elf and take time to learn a little more about your child(ren). This often includes recent special events or a unique situation involving their Elf from a previous year.
Using this information, I craft a personalized story explaining why Santa is delivering their Elf in person.
Example 1: The Dentist Visit
If the child recently had a great visit to the dentist, last year's story involved the Elf being certain they would take care of their teeth. Inside the delivery balloon, I placed a child’s toothbrush, toothpaste, and some candy.
Example 2: North Pole Mishap
Another story I’ve used is that the Elf was helping wrap candy at The North Pole, ate too much, and fell asleep! This caused the Elf to miss the scheduled return date. In the balloon, I included candy and some empty candy wrappers.
I always strive to make the experience specific and memorable for each child.
After the personalized story, I share more North Pole magic with them, such as the "white feather story" or the secrets of how we harvest the magic of the Aurora Borealis. I explain how this magic allows me to travel so fast, teleport items back and forth to The North Pole, and help my reindeer fly.
We finish the visit with pictures and smiles!
