Unfortunately our YouTube channel gets very few views and loses subscribers weekly. A lot of time and effort goes into our videos. We apologize that they are not good enough. We will not and never have used click-bait or other means to get viewers. What you see is what you get. True and honest and based on the love to my dog and our shared love for camping, hiking and exploring the wonders this beautiful country has to offer.

Join us on Delta's Recovery Tour 2026, Episode 5 - Part 1. Lockhart State Park, in Lockhart Texas.
We are leaving Blanco State Park and drive 59 miles to Lockhart State Park. This time we are going to stay 4 nights. After our arrival we tour the campground, visit our friend Elisa and do a long morning hike, covering almost every trail in the State Park.

Join us on Delta's Recovery Tour 2026, Episode 4 - Part 2. We are staying at Blanco State Park in Blanco Texas.
In todays video we visit:
1: The Buggy Barn Museum and the Pine Moore Western Town. This is the largest historic
buggy and wagon collection in Texas and also a movie set. There is also a large gift shop
and a blacksmith on site on Saturdays.
2: Real Ale Brewery.
Not far from the museum is the Real Ale Brewery with a large outdoor beer garden, but
also indoor seating and a food truck (pizza during my visit).
3: Historic Old Blanco Courthouse City square.
Lots of stores and restaurants.
4: Dinner at Rustica Bistro.
Rustica is within walking distance from Blanco State Park with a good selection of food and
very friendly service.
You can all those things in one day, while enjoying every place you visit with plenty of time to spare.

Join us on Delta's Recovery Tour 2026, Episode 4 - Part 1. Blanco State Park in Blanco Texas.

We are leaving Pedernales Falls State Park and drive only 27 miles to Blanco State Park, where we are going to stay for 2 nights. Part 1 features the campground and all hiking trails of the park, including the bird blind, where we had to rescue 2 birds.
