In a hurry to get to the vet!

We get TONS of questions about living aboard and traveling full time with our dog.. this week we are in a bit of a rush to get to the vet before checking into our next country.

We finally did the full boat clean out we’ve been putting off, and it was eye opening how much we didn’t actually need.

Instead of holding onto it, we brought everything to a nearby hurricane-hit island still rebuilding in the Grenadines.

As travelers it’s important to give back to these beautiful islands and welcoming locals as we’re passing through, especially some of these islands still recovering over a year after Hurricane Beryl ❤️

Instead of holding onto it, we brought everything to a nearby hurricane-hit island still rebuilding in the Grenadines.

Sailed into St. Lucia with the end of a rainbow sitting on our mooring after a long run north… and the Pitons completely blew us away 🌋🌈

A few days of hiking, mud baths, and the most insane views from the stern before pointing Afterglow back south toward Bequia.

Dodging squalls and somehow landing back-to-back mahi on the way 🤙🏼

We traded in the wind for engines and cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas aboard a 78ft Marlow ECB, spending our days fishing, island hopping, and swimming with turtles & stingrays 🤗

It’s HAUL OUT time! After finishing our sail south to Grenada, we haul out at (the best spot to store your boat during hurricane season) for new bottom paint — then trade sails for speeeeeed!
