One News SVG’s Demion McTair is in Osaka, Japan to cover St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ performances at its National Day showcase at the 2025 World Expo.

More than 200,000 patrons attend the Expo's daily events. Invest SVG is organizing SVG’s National Day presentation, which will feature several cultural performances.

SVG’s presentation will feature a morning and evening event on September 24. The morning event will feature an official ceremony from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Japanese time) at ND Hall “Ray Garden.” It will begin with a ceremonial flag-raising and the national anthems of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Japan, symbolising unity and mutual respect. The evening programme will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the same venue.

JAPAN WORLD EXPO IS “GOOD PROMOTION” FOR SVG, KEVIN LYTTLE SAYS

Vincentian artistes such as Kevin Lyttle will perform before an audience exceeding 250,000 as St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through Invest SVG hosts National Day on 24 September in Osaka, Japan.

Cultural Ambassador Kevin Lyttle, who has performed in Japan on multiple occasions, says the event offers excellent exposure for the culture and name of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the world stage.
