Most people think LinkedIn growth is about posting more, but it’s actually about posting with intent.
The real issue isn’t effort, it’s direction.
If you’re only showing up when you’re job hunting, you’re training your audience to only see you as “available” instead of valuable. The people getting consistent opportunities are the ones who stay visible even when they’re not actively looking.
Generic AI content is another silent killer. It might be clean and grammatically perfect, but hey it removes personality and LinkedIn is increasingly rewarding content that feels human, specific, and opinionated. If it could be written by anyone, it will be ignored by everyone.
And without a clear niche or positioning, you end up blending into the feed. People don’t refer, recommend, or follow what they can’t define. Clarity beats cleverness every time.
Your content isn’t just what you post , it’s how you’re perceived when you’re not in the room.
If you fix these three things, LinkedIn stops being a place you “try to grow” and becomes a place where growth happens naturally.
