Following my last post back in August last year during World Photography Day. Here are other excerpts from my ‘not-so-public’ works from the last 5 years, there are MANY photos that haven’t reached out to public eye. I guess I fell very deep into my comfort zone under a “I need to make a lot of work so I can lay back and have a couple months worth of cumulative work” train of thought. And here we are ✨

Let’s get moving, I’m a little bit closer to finish this kind remembrance-moments series before I post more recent works and later on we’ll jump back to the past.

Today is World Photography Day ✨ Here are some thoughts (along with a few upcoming posts) about my experience through all these years as a camera bearer.

Being a photographer is a true journey. Some people might see it as something simple: ‘Just take a camera and snap things that look great for a wide audience.’ And, to be fair, some photographers do make their title look simple enough to give that impression. Who wouldn’t want a relatively simple job where you can achieve great results and leave a legacy? It sounds like a dream.

I love to see other people’s work, especially photojournalists; they are the masters of storytelling. Being able to tell a story with no music or video, and still convey a single, deeply meaningful message, is something that takes years of practice. It takes a lifetime of observation and study... And I’m grateful for every single experience I’ve lived. I know there are many more to come 🔥
