We have been home for a few days but I wanted to officially document our long scenic trek home. ⛰️🦬 We saw some amazing stuff but my butt still isn’t ready to sit on the back of the bike. 😂

Hey it’s me! I interrupt our usual off-season content of 🏍️and ⛰️ to let you know our calendar for next season is starting to fill up. Do you want to charter with us? ⛵️

Current Availability:
December 1-18, 2026, April 15-30, 2027, May 11-22, 2027 and June 11-30, 2027.

We also have a few other "shorter" blocks in mid-November, late January, and March if you don't want to commit to a full 7-night charter.

Ran into some traffic today! 🦬 Joe and I are currently at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and I have so many pictures to share. But today was pretty special. 😍 Highlight of the trip so far.

We have been “home” for a few weeks and trying to soak up every minute; between doctor’s appointments, adulting and catching up on sleep! 😂

Here a few snaps I have taken lately, but honestly it’s been good to take a break from my phone and social media these past few weeks. Our off-season is in full swing!

We are not your typical owner operators, we put a lot of care and attention into maintaining Knot 5280. It’s not all glamorous and not always planned 😏 but a part of keeping our boat in great shape for current and future guests!

Boat life isn’t always sunsets and turquoise water. Sometimes it’s heavy lifting, sweat, and hauling the boat out of the water for hurricane season. 😅⛵️🌪️

Our off season has officially started. 🎉 Our pretty little boat is getting some rest and we are too. 🌄🏍️

We made it to Bonaire! 🇧🇶 It’s always hard to capture just how uncomfortable off-shore sailing can be. 61 hours of non-stop movement and noise. We had big winds, big waves and actually picked a really good weather window. 😂

So thankful that passage is over. We were exhausted, we slept when we could, but never for more than a few hours at a time with one of us always up at the helm. 🫩

About 60 miles out from Bonaire our engines cut out and we were dead in the water with just our genoa up. It was the most stressful part of the trip. Joe put a harness on and we unpacked the engine compartments to find we had shook loose the wood slates that support the insulation for our engine and they had fallen on the “kill” switch on the engine. Thankfully it was a quick easy fix but a stressful 30 minutes. That has never happened before… but an example of how sporty it was.

As always, thankful for Joe Sigdestad getting us here safely. 😍⛵️

Happy Anniversary! ❤️ Countless adventures, a few questionable decisions (mostly yours 😘), and we still choose each other every day. Thanks for being my favorite person to do this crazy life with.
