being "in bloom" isn't just personal, it's collective. growth as a society, and in our relationships with one another, requires transparency about what's working, what isn't, and where change is needed.

join the conversation as we explore which countries are thriving, which are struggling to grow, and what we can learn from both.

I loved the responses to this question and hearing how people grow over time. Chenelle thank you for sharing and being open and transparent about your journey 🫶🏾

I honestly am starting to enjoy the live podcast portions of my events more than the open mic. I love learning about other’s experiences and how they navigate different seasons. our 20s are really a solid place to discover who we are and what we want to accomplish. I feel the 30s will be putting it into practice. thanks for sharing Tywreh!

come out this Friday to Serenity’s Nest to participate or just listen and enjoy a safe space where we share our lives and how we can come together for the betterment of ourselves and the island. After the Rain 🌧️ pop-up starts at 6PM, show starts at 8PM

Welcome to the final chapter in our series Becoming Spring, In Bloom, After the Rain.

This conversation is about what comes next: after the breaking, after the waiting, after the seasons that challenge us the most. Because “after the rain” isn’t just about survival, it’s about what we choose to rebuild, who we choose to become, and how our growth quietly impacts the people and places around us.

As always, I had a great time hosting In Bloom. another one in the books ✔️

I really enjoyed the art and stories shared last night. creating safe spaces where people can feel comfortable being who they are in a world that consistently tries to label and force us into certain categories means everything.

so grateful to Serenity's Nest for the invitation to host these events because it's truly been one of the best parts of my time in St. Croix. time is winding down and I genuinely cherish the times and people I've shared these spaces with 🤍

until next month, see y'all then 🫶🏾🌸

back to our Foreword 4 Forward discussion, we had another audience member respond to the question about customer service and how it can be improved on the island.

he discussed an in depth perspective on the power structures and how that affects the work environment, and I contributed some personal thoughts as well. check it out

At our live podcast "With Love," In February, we talked about all the healthy ways to express love - romantically, platonically, familial, and self. This was probably my favorite live podcast so far because I love love 🤍

We asked an audience member their favorite way to spend quality time with their wife and his response was nothing specific, but everything 🥲

May that type of love find us all. Hope to see y'all next Friday at Serenity's Nest for "In Bloom"

Have you ever felt like you were treated differently in a place you traveled to outside of your home because you weren't from there?

Check out this snippet from my Foreword 4 Forward live podcast at Serenity's Nest back in January. the theme was how the community can move forward, so I posed a question about customer service, "island time," and attitudes in service industries here on St. Croix, throughout the Caribbean, and the globe.

Check out a part of Tiniqua's response and let me know what you think down below? I definitely resonate deeply with the last part of what Tiniqua said as that's been a lot of my experience here. people choose to perceive me how they want before ever interacting with me personally, and that is truly one of society's biggest hinderances to positive change.

I'll be rolling out some more clips from past events to prepare for my event next week, "In Bloom."

Full video of this event is on my YouTube channel , hope to see y'all next Friday at Serenity's Nest 🤗
