On Monday, April 7, 2025 SEDI-CASE will be hosting a press event announcement to welcome the Loudoun County, Virginia "DC Wine Country" trade mission delegation at the King Christian Hotel at 5:30pm EST. This press event announcement is to introduce and unveil a Bilateral National Heritage Area strategic collaboration of trade, commerce and cultural cooperation and exchange between the USVI and the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) marketplace. As a result of this marketplace strategic collaboration, businesses, organizations and governments will foster an environment to facilitate opening of new market opportunities for trade and commerce for local businesses in these unique National Heritage Areas in the United States.
There will be representatives participating in this press event from different companies from the DMV, and local USVI government agencies and local businesses in St. Croix who are interested in exporting and selling their products in the DMV. For example, food items, herbs, spices, beverages, beer, rum, vodka, art and novelty products. The St. Croix community will introduce for the very first time a co-branded private wine collection called St. Croix Heritage House Wine, which will be featured at this year's 25th Anniversary of Taste of St. Croix, and the announcement of "The Caribbean Festival" that will debut Friday, July 18-20, 2025 in Loudoun County, Virginia.
