BREAKING NEWS:
Prominent businessman, media personality, and social activist Inshan Ishmael has passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by his family.

His son, Zaakir Ishmael, confirmed the news in a heartfelt social media post, stating:

"Salaams and Good Morning. I regret to inform you of the passing of my dad, Inshan Ishmael. He passed peacefully this morning among his family. Funeral (Janazah) arrangements will be posted, Inshallah. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him is our return)."

On May 14th, 2025, Ishmael publicly revealed that he had been battling cancer. He was widely respected for his outspoken stance on national issues, as well as for his role in promoting Islamic media in Trinidad and Tobago.

Our condolences go out to his family, loved ones, and supporters during this difficult time.
