We decided to explore Cho Bac My An Market, one of the most authentic local markets in Da Nang.
As we walked inside, the market was alive with color, sound, and the smell of fresh Vietnamese street food. Stalls were packed with fruits, herbs, seafood, and so many traditional dishes.
Of course, we couldn’t resist tasting a few things. We tried some local snacks, a warm bowl of pho, sweet jelly desserts, and fresh tropical fruits. There were so many varieties of food here, it felt like a paradise for food lovers.
Most of the vendors here are women, and many of them were incredibly friendly, smiling and chatting as they worked.
Later, something unexpected happened. After lunch, a group of the women vendors gathered together, laughing, singing, and even dancing right there in the market. Their voices echoed through the stalls, filling the space with joy and energy. It was such a beautiful glimpse of everyday life.
Before leaving, we bought a few snacks and fruits to enjoy later, carrying with us not just food, but a small piece of the market’s warm and lively spirit.
