“’Soft Speak’ is a return to where I first fell in love with electronic music – the gentler, softer side of it. I wanted to make something people could really sink into; a place to disconnect, if only for a moment.

The record is also a tribute to my friend Cory, who I lost unexpectedly in 2025. Two songs on the album are for him. He was a true believer in the power of music and the good of people; the best of us. In my own small way, I wanted to put something back out into the world so he can continue to live on with us.” –

Today, Chris Null (aka obli) presents his debut album, ‘Soft Speak’. Across 11 tracks, the record moves through downtempo, lo-fi, indie and dance with warmth and clarity, amounting to a deeply personal and immersive body of work.

Anjunachill and Sauna Social Club come together this summer for a three-part series in Peckham, blending immersive chill music with sauna, wellness and connection.

Across three evening sessions running from 6-10pm, Anjunachill DJs will soundtrack the entire space - from the lounge’s four-point sound system to the silent downstairs sauna, where high-fidelity audio creates a deeply immersive listening experience. Upstairs, a brighter and more social sauna space offers room to unwind and connect with friends.

Expect restorative heat, ambient soundscapes, and a unique social wellness experience designed to help you fully switch off.

“This is one of my favourite songs on the record. A simple chord change arp pattern hung around on my hard drive until one early morning when I couldn’t sleep…
I opened up the session and started doing passes over it of this ocean sound for close to an hour. I loved what was happening so much that I just did pass after pass.
After some simple editing of the takes the song was basically done, and it’s what you’ll hear on the record.”
