🔥 League Cup Update: RA 11 - TIBS Yellow 0 🔥

What a performance from the team today! 🙌 Back to our best — first to every ball, using the wide areas brilliantly, and playing some fantastic football throughout 👏

Everyone put in a top shift 💪, and it was great to see multiple scorers on the sheet as our hard work paid off ⚽⚽⚽

The midfield trio of Cam, Indie, and Noah H absolutely bossed the middle, creating chances all game and setting the tempo from the start 👏

Brilliant to see the whole squad getting good minutes and those big smiles when the goals went in 😁

⭐ Player of the Match: Indie ⭐
Controlled the midfield from start to finish, breaking up play and driving us forward — outstanding performance! 💪🔥

Up the Rockets! 🚀✔️

A good three points on the road for the under 12 tornados this week.

They started the game strong with Leo and Kacper controlling the midfield. They went ahead on 10mins after some good wing play and a good finish from Zach.

Not long after, they went 2-0 up with another good finish from Zach.

Jaxon was making some good runs on the wing, and then helping his defence out too when needed.

HT: 0-2

Second half started pretty much the same, with the three defenders, Dorys, Thomas and Will sniffing out any danger. Ethan was also commanding his penalty area.

Jenson (JP) was working hard up front on his own, making some runs and creating space for himself. His reward came on 35 mins when he put us 3-0 up and then 5mins later making it 4-0.

Ollie was working hard in midfield and then a couple of changes saw Dillion and Artie come on.

Jaxon then turned scorer after a great free kick from Leo saw the keeper save but Jaxon was there for the rebound.

JP then rounded his display off with a hatrick making us 6-0 winners.

Great display from the all the boys. Lovely to keep a clean sheet too. The hard work in training is really starting to pay off.

U11 Rockets

Not the result we wanted this week...however, the team continue to make massive improvements and do exactly what we ask of them.

The whole team battled hard this morning and never let their heads dropped.

Well done to Player of the Match, Anas, who didn't give up throughout the game and to Joe, Player of the Week for his hard work and persistence in training.

U9 Tornadoes🌪️

Outstanding performance this morning vs a good Stockton Town side. The lads started well pressing high up the pitch and not giving the opposition any time on the ball, their hard work was rewarded midway through the first half when Harry broke the deadlock with a strike from range to put the lads ahead going in to the break.

Second half mirrored the first and we added to our lead with Max getting on the end of a pinpoint delivery from Mattys corner and finishing with a sweetly struck volley. The lads were fully in control by this point and playing some great football, Arthur found Spencer in the middle with a lovely ball from the back who went on to beat 2 defenders and finish neatly in to the bottom corner.
Stockton pulled a goal back late on but the lads kept their heads and finished the game firmly in control.

All round the best performance we have seen from the boys since moving up to 7 a side.

Man of the match went to Arthur today who was an absolute brick wall at the back and showed great composure on the ball all game🏆

Good performance in the 1st round of the cup this morning. After winning their league last year we knew Cockfield could be a tricky tie and it ended up being a really good game played in the right spirit by both teams.

We took an early lead when a shot from Ryan was saved and fell to Harry to tap into the open goal. Joseph doubled our lead with assist from Ben P before Ben W scored a great solo goal (Joseph assist) to make it 3-0 at half time.

We relaxed a bit at the start of the 2nd half and cockfield pulled one back. This kicked us back into action and we were soon awarded a penalty which Joe smashed in the top corner after Jenson was fouled in the box.

Ben W added his 2nd of the game late on with a long range shot that went under the keeper.

We tested a different formation today it worked well and we played some really good passing football, we probably should have had a few more goals today, missing a few easy chances but Cockfield defended well throughout and never let their heads drop.

Good luck to Cockfield for the rest of the season. Great bunch of lads and great manager!!

Thank you to our sponsors Bluebird Care and McNulty & Sons

The U12 Rockets got their first win of the season, with an excellent display against Great Ayton. In the past two games, the boys have showed great character to come from behind but in this game, the coaches challenged them to take the front foot in the game and show what they can do. They listened and opened the scoring after just 44 seconds! Goals continued to go in and the boys ran out 9-1 winners. Special mention this week to William who lead the line fantastically and was involved in 7 of the team’s goals.

Goals – Will 5, Jack 2, Max 1, Jacob Pr 1
Assists – Will 2, Billy, Ellis, Gabriel, Jack, Jacob Ph, Max

Parent Player – Jack contributed to 3 of the goals today and did some endless running throughout the game.

MoM – William Marksby for an outstanding display up top. Some excellent finishing and great awareness to lay the ball on for others to score too.
