🤯🤯 Có bạn report đề thi máy siêu dị ae ơi: Some people think scientists should send messages into space to communicate with other life forms while others believe that is dangerous. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Introduction:
While some argue that sending messages into space is worthwhile, others fear that it might pose a threat to humanity. This essay will examine both perspectives and show my opinion.
Body Paragraph 1: The potential dangers of contact
On the one hand, actively sending messages into space is a highly risky endeavor. There is no way to predict the intentions of an extraterrestrial civilization, and if they are hostile or view humanity as a threat, broadcasting our presence could lead to dangerous consequences. This is especially worrying if the alien race receiving our signal possesses superior technology, since they could easily dominate or even eradicate humanity, whether intentionally or as an unintended consequence. Given such danger, it is reasonable to claim that blindly revealing our location without assessing the risks first is reckless, as it exposes our planet to unknown threats.
Body Paragraph 2: The potential benefits
However, it is understandable why some believe that reaching out to alien civilizations could be beneficial. Discovering intelligent life beyond Earth would be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in history, providing insights into the nature of life, space, and potentially advanced technologies. If the discovered extraterrestrial society is more developed than ours, they may share knowledge that could help humanity progress in critical areas such as medicine, renewable energy, or interstellar travel. Additionally, if they have overcome global challenges such as climate change or resource scarcity, their experience could offer valuable solutions to pressing problems that humankind is struggling with on Earth.
Body Paragraph 3: What Daniel thinks
In my opinion, while there are clear advantages of attempts to make contact with extraterrestrial life, funding such efforts might be astronomically expensive without guaranteed success, and at the same time dangerous. Therefore, I believe that it is wiser for governments to focus on addressing immediate and more pressing problems on Earth, for instance climate change or famine, instead of far-fetched endeavors to search for life in outer space.
