Day 03 of Norminring Japan Ride—well it's been raining all day. So we went on a traditional culture trip. First we went to a local sake (rice w**e) brewery run by two young people who keep a community tradition. Then we headed on to a small village where I finally enjoyed a private onsen. My room is a traditional tatami with a view. Then Dino and I went to the pebble beach. The cobblestone beach is so zen it is a nice place to meditate. Stacked stones are wishes of people or a form of prayer. We ended up with a Kaiseki dinner to call it a day.

Day 2—Today’s ride took us through some of Tottori’s most memorable spots. 🇯🇵🏍️

First stop was Hayabusa Station, a charming historic railway station in Yazu and a well-known “holy land” for Suzuki Hayabusa riders.

From there, we headed toward Kagikake Pass Observation Point, sitting around 800 meters above sea level, with an incredible view of Mt. Daisen. Also popular for Milk and Cheese.

We're calling it a day for glamping at Tomashiba. Another beautiful stretch of Japan on two wheels.

Touchdown Kyoto! Na excite naman ako bigla dahil finally I'll be able to try one of the bikes that I'm (secretly) in love with, the Suzuki GSX-8TT. Since wala pang test units nito sa Pinas eh dito ko nalang gagamitin. Neo-retro cafe racer inspired, tech loaded, na napaga guapo. More of that later. Makapag ramen mga muna.

Day -00 of our Kyoto Ride. First to arrive ako dumating ng Kansai so I have plenty of time to "look around" for some stuff that I might need for the ride. Pretty gloomy dito kaya titingin tayo ng rain gear. Went straight to Lawson for my favorite combo meal tapos naligaw ako sa Nike bat bako nandito.
