March was a month full of dynamic international engagement for the USTH, marked by a series of high-level meetings, signing ceremonies, and a strategic mission abroad.
1. Welcoming International Partners
Throughout the month, USTH was honored to welcome 06 distinguished delegations from leading institutions across the globe. These included representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Taiwan), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), Belarussian State University (Belarus), Lanzhou University (China).
The meetings provided valuable opportunities to explore joint academic programs, research cooperation, student exchanges, and potential double-degree pathways, reaffirming USTH's commitment to building a robust global educational network.
🖋 2. Signing Strategic Agreements
One of the key highlights of March was the successful signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three prestigious institutions: the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), and Hanyang University ERICA (South Korea).
These agreements open new doors for collaborative research, faculty, student mobility, and the co-organization of scientific events—laying a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.
✈️ 3. Strengthening Semiconductor Collaboration in South Korea
From March 24 to 27, a USTH delegation, led by Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh, Rector of USTH, conducted a focused working visit to South Korea to enhance collaboration in semiconductor technology.
During the trip, the delegation engaged in productive meetings with seven key academic and industrial partners: Inha University, Tech University of Korea, Korea Polytechnic – Semiconductor Convergence Campus, Hanyang University ERICA, Wonik Corporation, Vision Semicon, and the Korean Semiconductor Academy under the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA).
This mission represents a significant step toward advancing research, training programs, and joint innovation initiatives in one of today's most critical high-tech industries.
