VinCSS launches ZQTA platform in Taiwan, driving the Zero Trust and post-quantum cryptography trend

VinCSS has officially introduced the ZQTA – Zero Trust Quantum-Ready Network Access Platform at the FIDO Taipei Seminar 2025 held in Taiwan. ZQTA is a network access management platform based on the Zero Trust model, developed by VinCSS with a vision to be ready for the post-quantum era.

Over the years, VinCSS has consistently been recognized as a pioneer in FIDO2 technology across the Asia-Pacific region and FDO on the global scale. During the event, Mr. Simon Trac Do – CEO of VinCSS – shared: “We have sought to fully leverage our expertise in FIDO2 and FDO to transform ZQTA into a next-generation ZTNA solution, capable of simultaneously protecting people, devices, and all access flows within the system under the principles of default distrust, continuous monitoring, and dynamic context-based authorization.”

In the context of booming remote work and digital transformation, Verizon’s report revealed that 88% of recent cybersecurity incidents showed how a single unauthorized access could quickly spread, causing severe damage to entire systems. This has driven organizations to seek solutions like ZQTA that offer convenient connectivity management, easy scalability, cost optimization, and compliance with global security standards.

VinCSS has officially entered into a strategic partnership with TPV DataTrust, a reputable developer and distributor of data security and digital authentication solutions in Viet Nam. This collaboration is expected to contribute to the development of a Make in Viet Nam cybersecurity and digital trust ecosystem, strengthening national data protection capabilities and reducing reliance on foreign technologies.

Under this cooperation, TPV DataTrust will become a business partner for VinCSS’s core products and solutions, including the ZQTA Zero Trust Quantum-Ready Network Access Platform, FIDO2-based passwordless strong authentication solutions, IoT Security solutions, digital signature solutions using chip-based citizen ID cards, along with other cybersecurity products and services developed by VinCSS.

SMS OTP - một trong những phương thức xác thực ngân hàng phổ biến nhất hiện nay đang dần bị người dùng “cho ra rìa”.

Trong khi người dùng và cả ngân hàng phải gánh một khoản chi phí lớn hàng tháng cho các tin nhắn chuyển mã OTP, họ vẫn đang đối mặt với hàng loạt nguy cơ phổ biến như lừa đảo giả mạo, đánh cắp SIM, chặn tin nhắn…

Ngoài ra, các chuyên gia nhận định OTP dưới hình thức nào cũng để lại rủi ro trước các biện pháp tấn công lừa đảo và mã độc ngày càng gia tăng.

Theo Báo cáo Trải nghiệm Xác thực Ứng dụng Ngân hàng Việt Nam 2025 thực hiện bởi VinCSS, chỉ 15,7% người dùng tin rằng SMS OTP thực sự an toàn và người dùng đang có xu hướng chuyển dịch mạnh mẽ từ các phương thức xác thực truyền thống như mật khẩu, các hình thức OTP sang các phương thức xác thực hiện đại hơn như sinh trắc học, passkey, chữ ký số.

SMS OTP, one of the most widely used banking authentication methods, is now being left behind by users.

While both users and banks continue to bear significant monthly costs for OTP text messages, they still face numerous threats such as phishing scams, SIM swapping, and message interception.

Experts also point out that OTP—regardless of the form—still carries significant risks against today’s widespread phishing and malware attacks.

According to the Viet Nam Banking App Authentication Experience Report 2025 by VinCSS, only 15.7% of users believe SMS OTP is truly secure, and there is a strong shift away from traditional methods like passwords and OTPs towards more modern authentication methods such as biometrics, passkeys, and digital signatures.
