"Suboi - The Power" is the music video that kicks off the global "I've Got The Power" campaign from the European Commission, promoting green and renewable energy.

Being the first in a 10-country series of incredible music and cultural explorations, we’re proud to set a confident first step in the production of this campaign. We delivered not only stylish and beautiful visuals but also content that's authentic and representative of Saigon and its citizens.

Directed by the fun and high-octane duo Dozen, and globally produced by LOVO (Brussels) with agency VML (Belgium), there was truly great energy and spirit working with these guys—ironically perfect for a song called "The Power"!

Happy International Workers’ Day! 🇻🇳🎥 ✨

During this special time, especially here in Ho Chi Minh City, where the spirit of International Workers’ Day meets the reflection of Vietnam Reunification Day, it makes us pause. We think about how much this city has transformed, and how the resilient spirit of its working people – ourselves included! – continues.�

This enduring spirit feels like a powerful continuation of the foundations built by many generations in this country. It’s a legacy of incredible hard work that we are all so proud to inherit and build upon today.

That's why these days particularly bring to mind a project from last year: our short documentary 'Datbike: Recharge,' directed by Paul Vi Minh. In the film, we had the chance to profile the modern portraits of Saigonese working people. Seeing them navigate challenges and find creative solutions was a powerful reminder – they are truly a fine example of that shared heritage of hard work.

And through telling their stories, our own crew's dedication mirrored the incredible work ethic of the people we featured. It was a shared drive we deeply appreciate.�
We feel incredibly proud to be Vietnamese and to be part of this ongoing story. Happy International Workers’ Day from all of us at Booncha!

A few months ago, we embarked on a novel project for Vimeo, creating a film designed specifically for the Apple Vision Pro.

The Vision Pro redefined filmmaking, challenging us to rethink scene planning and ex*****on for this immersive experience. Working alongside director Jake Oleson and cinematographer Gaul Porat, we helped develop the script, scout unique locations, and bring compelling stories and characters to life.

This behind-the-scenes video captures some of the most memorable moments from our journey creating "Currents." Over two weeks, we filmed across Vietnam, from peaceful countryside to busy city streets, showcasing the Vietnam’s rich textures and cultural beauty through this innovative technology.

"Currents" offers a glimpse into the future of video production, demonstrating the power of technological advancement. If you have an Apple Vision Pro, you can experience the film by downloading the Vimeo app.

"Currents" is also being screened at the Artehouse in NYC and has been selected for SXSW in March!

As Tết 🌸 approaches, it comes a reflective moment for the past 12 months.

We've journeyed through mountains, deserts, and oceans, collaborating with amazing crews not only in Vietnam but also across Asia, Europe, and America. This year alone, we poured our hearts into 26 incredible projects. With each one, we pushed our boundaries and embraced new challenges, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing clients, partners, and crew members.
