Taken from the small town that acts as the gateway into the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu. Most tourists visiting Machu Picchu only see a glimpse of the town that's curated for daytime visitors filled with restaurants and shopping.

But as you walk deeper into the town you find an area where the locals reside. From cafeterias serving authentic Peruvian dishes, kids playing soccer in the middle of town, to locals doing everyday, mundane activities.
