Các Fan ơi, Đạo diễn của chúng ta đã quyết tâm “Đưa khán giả quay ngược thời gian, trải nghiệm một câu chuyện tình yêu đầy chất thơ, có thể làm rung động tâm hồn mọi thế hệ." Điều này đòi hỏi bối cảnh và ánh sáng phải cực kỳ công phu, tinh tế để tái hiện được chân thật cái không gian và tinh thần của “ ” đã được nhà văn mô tả nên thơ, tuyệt đẹp.

Sau 44 ngày quay tại Huế và Quảng Nam, bộ phim vừa đóng máy. Những hình ảnh đầu tiên được tung ra, khơi gợi trí tò mò, liệu “Mắt Biếc” khi thoát khỏi những trang sách sẽ hiện ra thế nào đây?

: David Leitch’s Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw brings the two characters into a spring-loaded partnership as they are pushed to their very limits fighting to stop a superhuman soldier. Embroiled in this battle is a mysterious agent who is the only one who can help them get to him. As the fate of the world hangs in the balance, the trio would need to resolve their differences while getting their wits together to stand-off against an impossible opponent.

What works:

- The film is fully aware of itself and does not try to be too intense with twisted plots and overarching drama. It has generous doses of fast-paced action that are well-choreographed and enjoyable for the most part.

- The dynamics between Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are fun to watch as the titular characters, all thanks to their opposite personalities and their incessant taunts. Vanessa Kirby as the MI6 agent has a great screen presence and is a fantastic addition to the franchise.

- Idris Elba as the superhuman soldier Brixton is as close as you would ever see him as James Bond. All of his chase-sequences with his über-cool bike are a spectacle.

What doesn’t work:

-The film suffers from a few dragged monologues that unnecessarily bring the pace down. They make the runtime far too long than required.

- The screenplay introduces a third act just before the epic fight that feels long-winding and clichéd.

Verdict: Watch it for the action-sequences and a fun-filled joyride that gives you exactly what you’d expect from a Dwayne Johnson movie.
