1️⃣ DESTINATION OVERVIEW
Ngọc Chiến is a highland commune in Sơn La Province, renowned for its natural hot mineral springs, considered among the best in Vietnam. The area is home to the largest Sơn Tra (wild apple) forest in Vietnam, officially recognized by the Guinness Records.
Ngọc Chiến also boasts a chain of peaks rising above 2,700 meters, including Tà Dông, Tà Tao, Tà Chì Nhù, Tà Dê Đơ, and Háu Nả Tà, forming the so-called “Five Elements Mountain Range” surrounding Nậm Nghẹp Village.
The region preserves a rich and distinctive cultural heritage of the Thai and Hmong ethnic communities, passed down through generations over thousands of years.
Nậm Nghẹp, a high-altitude Hmong village, is considered the trekking, flower-viewing, and indigenous experience hub of Ngọc Chiến.

A favorite experience for visitors. Strawberries have been grown locally for two years and are especially large and sweet this season.
