Reliable maritime services are vital for connecting communities across Vanuatu, especially in our outer islands where sea transport is often a lifeline.

In this short film, we meet Shirley Pata, whose work helped support the installation of solar power systems at maritime facilities through the Maritime Pacific Program. These improvements provide reliable energy for essential operations, helping strengthen services that people depend on every day.

Shirley's story is a reminder that behind every infrastructure project are dedicated individuals working to create practical, lasting benefits for their communities.

Filmed in 2021. Solar installations completed in 2019. Edited in 2026.

A special day as we celebrated the official opening of the new Evacuation Shelters.

These shelters will help keep families and communities safe during cyclones and times of disaster. They are a strong reminder of what can be achieved when communities, partners, and leaders work together.

Grateful to capture this important moment and be part of a project that supports safety, access, inclusion, and resilience for our communities.

🇻🇺 Together, we are building a safer future for Vanuatu.
