In this short film, we meet Shirley Pata, whose work helped support the installation of solar power systems at maritime facilities through the Maritime Pacific Program. These improvements provide reliable energy for essential operations, helping strengthen services that people depend on every day.

Proud to share this video highlighting the construction of three new evacuation shelters in Fresh Wota, Seaside and Korman.

The project was implemented by the Vanuatu Government and funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to strengthen community safety, improve accessibility and provide secure spaces during cyclones and other emergencies.

It was a privilege for Navaraland to capture the people, progress and purpose behind this important project.

A special day as we celebrated the official opening of the new Evacuation Shelters.

These shelters will help keep families and communities safe during cyclones and times of disaster. They are a strong reminder of what can be achieved when communities, partners, and leaders work together.
