Soman was raised in a devout Hindu home, where he was trained to win others to his religion. After a dark season of addiction and despair, a friend invited him to an evangelical meeting. There, he met Jesus and found freedom from addiction and hopelessness.

Later on, when a church worker introduced him to the Sabbath truth, Soman wrestled deeply, studying Scripture for five months. At last, he was convinced beyond a doubt that the seventh-day Sabbath was the one he would follow.

In January 2023, he was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist faith, causing a stir across the Pentecostal community.

When his former church organization’s vice president asked why he shared his testimony about the Sabbath, he boldly witnessed, saying, “I have come to know the Sabbath truth and no one has ever shared this with me before, not even you. Now I have understood this is the truth and I will follow it.”

From then on, Soman has dedicated himself to establishing a church in Kerala, where Thomas, a disciple of Jesus, had ministered as a missionary.

If Soman’s experience has inspired you to follow Jesus and share the Sabbath truth with others, share this story with a friend.

YES TO JESUS VIDEOS

31/08/2025

Jesus didn’t win hearts with arguments. He didn’t force belief, shame the hurting, or chase numbers.

He loved people first. He met their needs, built friendships, and then, and only then, invited them to follow Him.

Ellen White wrote: “Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Savior mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me’” (Ministry of Healing, p. 143).

Could it be that true evangelism isn’t about what we say, but how we love? If we’re missing love, are we missing the point of evangelism altogether? Let's talk about it.
