What an incredible journey it has been for the first-ever Measina O Le Vasa! ๐โค๏ธ
From the opening at Apia Black Sand to our final day at Miti Maninoa, Siumu, it was a celebration of our people, our culture, our communities and the next generation. ๐ผ๐ธ๐บ
A special faโafetai tele lava i le Afioga Niumata Kitiona Pogi, CEO of Samoa Tourism, for joining us during our opening ceremony and sharing words of encouragement as we launched the very first Measina O Le Vasa.
Following the CEOโs remarks, we were also honoured to hear from High Chief of Apia, afioga Tuiletufuga Fritz Tuiavii-Savaiinaea, who shared his words of encouragement and reminisced about his paddling years and experiences on the water. ๐๐ถ
As we came towards the end of our final day at Miti Maninoa, Pulenuโu of Saโaga, afioga ia Tupuola Komi Schuster, emphasised the importance of programmes like those delivered by Alo Paopao Academy, giving our children opportunities to stay active, keep busy and, most importantly, be surrounded by a positive and healthy environment. โค๏ธ
