We weren't expecting this.
Standing in the middle of Taumeasina Hotel.

Tourists everywhere.
Busy. Loud. Normal day.

Then Carlos stopped.
Gave Alonzo advice.
Man to man. Champion to future champion.

Then Joseph Parker walked over.
And hugged him.
Just like that.

In a hotel lobby in Samoa.
Two world champions poured into our son.
Some moments you can't plan.
You just have to be ready for them.
