International Summer School Prizren

A memorable day at the International Summer School Prizren, organized by University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, where we were proud to be one of the sponsors.

As part of the programme, we had the pleasure of bringing an interactive workshop to international students on the similarities and differences between languages, exploring how language, culture and expression evolve across generations.

The workshop was led by Natasha Christofis from Hamilton House Publishers and used a fascinating comparison between Shakespeare and Tupac to explore language in a creative and engaging way.

A great opportunity to connect, learn and exchange ideas with students from around the world right here on the University of Prizren campus.

We’re Hiring: Project Assistant (Full-Time)
📍 Location: Prishtina, Kosovo
📅 Starting Date: No later than 1 September 2026

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and motivated Project Assistant to join our team and support educational and publishing projects across Kosovo.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate projects and daily activities
-Communicate with partners, and clients
-Organize meetings, presentations, and events
-Prepare reports and project documentation
-Provide administrative and logistical support
- Visit institutions and assist with project implementation
-Maintain accurate project records

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Language is required. Candidates with degrees in other foreign languages or Social Sciences may also be considered based on their qualifications and relevant experience.
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong organizational and communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable
Willingness to travel within Kosovo when required

Ministria e Arsimit dhe Shkencës njofton se është përmbyllur procesi i përpunimit të rezultateve të Testit të Arritshmërisë 2026. Në këtë test morën pjesë 21,982 nxënës, ndërsa arritshmëria mesatare e përgjithshme në nivel vendi është 48.35%.

Analiza e rezultateve sipas lëndëve tregon se arritshmëria më e lartë është shënuar në Gjuhën angleze 65.97%, Histori 62.23% dhe Gjuhë shqipe 54.63%. Ndërkaq, arritshmëria më e ulët është evidentuar në Kimi 37.68% dhe Matematikë 37.93%, pasuar nga Biologjia 40.83%, Fizika 45.33%, Informatika 47.87% dhe Gjeografia 47.84%.

Rezultatet e Testit të Arritshmërisë ofrojnë një pasqyrë të nivelit të përvetësimit të kompetencave nga nxënësit në përfundim të arsimit të mesëm të ulët dhe do të shërbejnë si bazë për identifikimin e prioriteteve dhe planifikimin e masave në përmirësimin e cilësisë në arsim.

Ministarsko obrazovanja i nauke obaveštava da je završen proces obrade rezultata Testa dostignuća 2026. Na ovom testu učestvovala su 21.982 učenika, dok je prosečno opšte dostignuće na nivou zemlje 48,35%.

Analiza rezultata po predmetima pokazuje da je najviše dostignuće zabeleženo u engleskom jeziku 65,97%, istoriji 62,23% i albanskom jeziku 54,63%. S druge strane, najniže dostignuće evidentirano je u hemiji 37,68% i matematici 37,93%, a slede biologija 40,83%, fizika 45,33%, informatika 47,87% i geografija 47,84%.

Rezultati Testa dostignuća pružaju pregled nivoa usvojenosti kompetencija učenika na kraju nižeg sekundarnog obrazovanja i služiće kao osnova za identifikovanje prioriteta i planiranje mera za poboljšanje kvaliteta u obrazovanju.

Communique

The Ministry of Education and Science announces that the processing of the results of the 2026 Achievement Test has been completed. A total of 21,982 students took the test, while the overall average achievement rate nationwide was 48.35%.

An analysis of the results by subject shows that the highest achievement rates were recorded in English Language (65.97%), History (62.23%), and Albanian Language (54.63%).

Meanwhile, the lowest achievement rates were recorded in Chemistry (37.68%) and Mathematics (37.93%), followed by Biology (40.83%), Physics (45.33%), Computer Science (47.87%), and Geography (47.84%).

The results of the Achievement Test provide an overview of students’ level of competency attainment at the completion of lower secondary education and will serve as a basis for identifying priorities and planning measures to improve the quality of education.
