For 10 years in a row, Ballo Shqiptare has been held in Kosovo. This year, Ukrainians, at the invitation of the ball queen Diellza Kolgeci, joined the traditional event. It should be noted that Ballo Shqiptare is not only entertainment, but also a way to preserve cultural heritage, strengthen community and pass on the history and traditions of the Albanian people from generation to generation.
Вже 10 років поспіль у Косово влаштовують Ballo Shqiptare. Цьогоріч і українці, на запрошення королеви балу долучилися до традиційного дійства.
Зазначимо,Ballo Shqiptare - це не лише розвага, а й спосіб збереження культурної спадщини, зміцнення громади та передання історії і традицій албанського народу від покоління до покоління.

EVENING OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE VICTIMS OF THE HOLODOMOR

Ukrainian Kosovo Association Bridges of Friendship together with Europe House Kosovo , with support of JRS Kosovo organised memory event in Prishtina.
The Holodomor is a genocide of the Ukrainian nation committed in 1932-1933. It was committed by the leadership of the Soviet Union in order to subjugate the Ukrainians, finally eliminate the Ukrainian resistance to the regime and attempts to build an independent, independent Ukrainian State from Moscow.
A Ukrainian journalist, PhD in History Iryna Synelnyk told about the historical component of the tragedy.
Boguslaw Gertruda (Head of the Political, Economic and European
Integration Section at the EU Office in Kosovo) had speech and even read a Ukrainian poem "Liubit Ukrainu"( Love Ukraine)
Then a movie "The Price of Truth", (Mr. Jones) was shown.
It tells how a Welsh journalist breaks the news in the western media of the famine in Ukraine in the early 1930s.
