MANILA โ Quirinian students put their knowledge, creativity, and confidence to the test as they represented their school in two division-level competitions held on September 12, 2026.
At Araullo High School, Grade 10 student Lance Julian Pagulayan of 10-Matatag and Grade 9 student Mikhail Zyrxes Policarpio of 9-Matatag competed in the STEMazing Contest against participants from 33 schools.
The pair secured 7th place, showcasing their knowledge, preparation, and teamwork throughout the competition. Their performance reflected the studentsโ hard work and dedication, with guidance from Ms. Ma. Isabel Camacho and the schoolโs Science teachers.
Meanwhile, at Florentino Torres High School, Marje Blake Francois S. Roxas and Duayne Kristoff E. Stickels represented the school in the Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) Advocacy Pitch 2026.
Competing against 11 schools, the students delivered their advocacy pitch with confidence and conviction, earning 2nd place. Their achievement highlighted their strong communication and persuasive skills, as well as their ability to present an advocacy with purpose and clarity.
Ms. Suzeth Parola and Ms. Abigail Tagalicud trained the contestants, and their guidance and preparation helped the students rise to the challenge.
Beyond the rankings, the two competitions gave the students an opportunity to step beyond the classroom, challenge their abilities, and represent their school with pride. Their achievements also reflected the dedication of both learners and teachers in nurturing talents, building confidence, and pursuing excellence.
