That was definitely not what we wanted to see - but also something that was always a possibility given the opening day opponents, players missing & a team FAR from its full capacity.

I don't even want to make this seem like excuses - it's more about the facts. It's always going to be difficult after making such changes & it'll always take time - it's a teething period and will be difficult at times.

It will only get better with time - more players through the door with an upgrade to that front line will make the world of difference.

Very frustrating but we cant throw our toys out of the pram at the first opportunity - we need to be understanding of the situation we are in - keep your heads up Spurs fans - it'll all get better 👏

Well that wasn't too great was it...?!

Have to give Brentford credit who came out of the blocks rapid & really made it difficult for us to do anything early on and inevitably took the lead.

Loose play from Bergvall in midfield gave Brentford another huge opportunity in which they took to grab the second goal.

Tottenham Hotspur have a deal agreed for the transfer of Omar Marmoush but Manchester City seem to be moving the goalposts yet again.

It's now claimed that City are not willing to sign the deal off until they have "evaluated their squad" after their game against Bournemouth.

After this deal - I never want us to work with Manchester City again - they're taking us for a ride yet again.
