📣 We’re Accepting Interns! (Social Media Edition)

✨The Ovilla Chamber of Commerce is officially on the hunt for our Social Media Intern!

✨ We need:
• Someone with a knack for making engaging posts and videos
• A head full of creative, outside the box ideas
• An understanding of social trends (and the ability to explain them to people over 40 without sighing)
• A passion for building community and showing off all the great things happening in Ovilla

This is a hands-on, creative internship where you’ll help us:
• Plan & post engaging content for Chamber events
• Create short videos & reels that actually make people stop scrolling
• Capture the personality of our members and our city online

With over two decades of hands on experience in the service and hospitality industry, Sara brings a dynamic mix of leadership, operational insight and creative event ex*****on. Her background spans restaurant management, corporate catering operations, event coordination and custom event creation.

Today, she wears many hats, some of them wide brimmed! As the owner and operator of a working farm, Sara has expanded her expertise to include educational programming, hands on workshops and community building initiatives. Whether she’s wrangling logistics in a boardroom or checking cattle at sunset, she thrives on creating meaningful experiences and bringing people together.

Sara and her husband Greg are raising their three farm loving kids in the heart of Ovilla, where they feel blessed to grow deep roots in a town rich with agricultural heritage.

With a sharp eye for detail and a love for keeping things organized, Jill ensures the Chamber’s behind the scenes operations run like a well oiled machine. From record keeping and document management to coordinating communication and supporting daily logistics, she’s the go to for keeping everything streamlined and on track.

Outside of the Chamber, Jill brings a background in admin & operations support, and is known for her calm, dependable presence and willingness to jump in wherever needed. She’s passionate about supporting her community, helping others succeed and making sure the little things never go unnoticed.

💪🏼 We’ve been working hard to build something meaningful, a hub for collaboration, growth and support for all of Ovilla and beyond.

🤯 I’ve been absolutely blown away by the people who have shown up, offered their time and jumped in with both feet to help make this happen. In true collaborative fashion, we’re combining our talents and resources to lay a strong foundation. From launching our website to creating events and opportunities that bring our community together.
