LOOK: MORNING SKIES ACROSS VISAYAS LIGHT UP IN VIBRANT COLORS
Early this morning, residents in parts of the Visayas, including Negros Occidental, Bohol, and Cebu, were greeted by unusual sky colors ranging from red and orange to bluish-gray.
The striking hues were caused by the sun rising low on the horizon, with its light passing through thick clouds and high moisture. These clouds and moisture are partly enhanced by the outer bands of Tropical Storm Ada, which is currently east of the Visayas over the Philippine Sea.
The red and orange skies appear as sunlight scatters through the stormβs clouds, while the gray or bluish tones indicate denser cloud cover, limiting direct sunlight.
Weather experts emphasize that this is a normal atmospheric phenomenon intensified by the storm and is not a sign of fires, explosions, or any other hazardous event.
