Hallo my burger 🍔 liebes!
I swung by the other day as I was intrigued by the mixed reviews online, charismatic owner and diverse burgers they offered 😁
They used to be based in Prenzlauer Berg but have now fully moved to Neukolln on Hobrechtstraße right by lovely Hermannplatz 😎
I went ahead and ordered the DOPE double cheeseburger customized with raw onion 🧅 to give a bit of acidity (no tomatoes 🍅 or lettuce 🥬)
***side note: I find that in Germany 🇩🇪 they don’t utilize lettuce very well in Burgers and sandwiches 🥪, they always put way too much and it looks kind of crazy 😂so I steer clear of that
Burger was GOOD 😊 beef was juicy and blended in perfectly with the cheese, onion and sauce. The ratio to bun was just perfecto 👌🏾! I asked them to make it with love ❤️ and they definitely took some care to do it. Everything tasted fresh and it hit the spot. Sauce was generous (napkins needed). Although bun was nice and fluffy. It was maybe just a little dry, I think they toast the buns rather than butter them (that’s just a personal preference) but the bun 🥯 quality is Sehr gut
Owner brought out some fries and a side of that cheese 🧀 sauce and it was hellaaaaa creamy and smooth. My recommendation is to go with double cheeseburger, fries and cheese sauce on the side, not blended in together so it stays fresh and not messy 🙌🏾
All in all it was super enjoyable 8.4 Buns :) I do recommend ordering in person at the actual shop, I would generally recommend that for most burger shops as you just get a fresher experience … rather than delivery 🚚 where products lose their freshness.
