There is one certain style that has kept my mind busy the last couple of months.. And that style is: A-frame!
Yup! A-frames! As you may have found out, i am capable of designing a wide variety of homes, cabins etc. But i always liked A-frames, the idea behind it, less material for example, but also the challenge of being able to include every need in to a house shaped as such!
Take this one here for example. While i was working on a regular version of this A-frame here, i got the idea, whilst driving past a few of the many campings in our beautiful region here in Norway, of making one that would be perfect for campings or people/companies that wish to rent out cabins.
So i swapped out the spiral stairs for a simpler stairs and instead of a open floor concept, i filled out the floor upstairs completely, giving the possibility to have 3 beds, a bathroom, living-space with kitchen and a small room that can be used as either a technical room, or as extra storage.
Not to mention how much sleeping space you can create when you are a camping! By using the on-site facilities you could decide to scrap the bathroom or whatever you want, and just fill the building with beds!
Great for school trips!
And with it being ca 9m long and 4m wide you could easily swap out your camping spots for a couple of these in some cases!
