Today EdYou FM engaged with teachers in training of the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) during a training and information session focused on expanding learning beyond the traditional classroom methods. Teachers were introduced to what the Distance Education Unit has to offer to support this- including our educational radio programming, digital learning resources, EdPal mobile app, website and GLC.

This is an exciting era for access to education and learning!

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is pleased to announce that by the end of the first quarter of this year, several new schools will become operational, with the commissioning process already underway for 18.

This underscores the Government’s commitment to expanding access to quality education and improving learning environments for students nationwide.

In some cases, students will begin occupying these new facilities prior to formal commissioning, ensuring that learning continues without interruption.

The Ministry remains committed to fostering equitable access to education and creating conducive environments for academic success.

These new schools represent a major step toward fulfilling that vision.
