Special Education Needs Officer, Nikoya Alleyne, is currently in Washington DC, where she will present project Community Sensory Hubs.

This presentation is part of the Community Solutions Programme, which is supported by the United States Department of State and implemented by IREX.

The Community Sensory Hubs initiative focuses on creating safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces for persons with disabilities. These hubs provide sensory friendly environments, access to resources, opportunities for learning, and meaningful community engagement. They are designed to improve the quality of life for individuals with diverse sensory, developmental, and physical needs.
