This simple daily habit saves chicks lives!

Every morning, I turn up my wood shavings to keep the litter fresh, warm, dry and well aerated.

This is the time I also check for any wet patches, and replace.

But why?

This prevents caking, reduces ammonia buildup, and extends the life of the bedding — saving you money and protecting my flock's respiratory health.

Wet, caked litter is one of the biggest silent killers in the brooder.
