The heat will be noticed by the afternoon tomorrow as we go into the mid to upper 90s over west Tennessee. Heat index readings well over 100 and getting hotter into the weekend with upper 90s and some heat advisories are very likely. wtwclive.com

Thursday night update. Erin has sustained winds at 70 mph as a strong tropical storm and moving to the west northwest at 17 mph. Its not 100% but certainly looking more like Erin will stay away from the lower 48. More updates ahead. wtwclive.com
