🗺️Who doesn’t love a colourful map?

As part of Our Loghouse project we delivered an accurate map of the area signposting main activities and landmarks. We had in depth conversations with the owners of the house focusing specifically on this. With their help and with first hand experience during our weekend there, we divided the interesting spots in three zones, following the three circles main idea🟡🟤🟢

Logo animation for Our Loghouse ✨

🏡Our Loghouse had been a family home which opened its doors to other people looking to create memories for a lifetime. And we wanted to help share its magic with many more other that like us enjoy what the Scottish outdoors has to offer.

🪵To do so, we envisioned a logo that reflected that sense of belonging and connection we felt after talking with the owners, Yvonne and Richard.

🧒We took inspiration from a carving their kids had made in the playhouse and combined it with the main theme of the house versatility to host different kinds of travellers - represented by three circles.

🧘🗺⛷Each dimension shows a level of experience Our Loghouse’s guests might be seeking - from a cozy family time surrounded by nature to a greater adventure into the wilderness.

🤗And as this project comes to a close we can’t wait for Our Loghouse to give others the opportunity to feel the same joy it hosted amongst its log-walls once again.

✨A bunch of Wisps led us to “Our Loghouse”

🌲Hidden among tall trees, “Our Loghouse” is a guest house in Kirkmichael, a small village just before the Cairngorms.

🖼From our very first day working on this project, it was clear to us that this wasn’t just a guest house. It held precious memories and it’s ready for new ones to be made. Its design and location made Our Loghouse the perfect candidate for our pilot project.

📍We worked very hard on developing a story-telling driven project that reiterated the same concept through different content. For this specific project we worked on: a short promotional film, a brand identity and style guide document, interior and surroundings photos and an illustrated map.
