✨ WHAT. A. NIGHT. ✨
Its been a crazy couple weeks and I'm finally able to share these highlights with you.

On September 4th, I had the incredible privilege of being the Master of Ceremonies for the Kali Yatra Festival 2026 Signature Friday Night, featuring the amazing Bajan jamming vocalist from the UK !

To stand on that stage and host in front of 2,000+ people was honestly an experience I could have never imagined for myself. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity, the trust, and the energy that made this night so unforgettable. ❤️

Here’s a little recap of a truly transcendent night! ✨

A special thank you to the Yatra Committee and for putting your faith in me and trusting me to host such a special evening. It was an absolute honour. 🙏🏽

Today was an incredibly difficult day. Today we said farewell to one of our brightest lights, Nadia, who, if you listened to Sangeet and Indie Junction, many would have known on-air as Rocket. Rocket was a gem, a truly special and beautiful person.

I had the pleasure of knowing and meeting Rocket through my journey as a radio announcer and DJ. She was an avid listener, supporter, and mother figure. Our relationship stretched far beyond radio, earning her a permanent place in my heart. There was never a day where I could joke on-air about feeling like eating something without her either coming by to drop food off, telling me to pass after work, or offering to make something for me to eat.

She was nothing but proud of my journey. That was always evident. She would come to events, sit, and video tape me doing my thing while beaming with pride. She would often call me her "beautiful daughter," and I cannot imagine not hearing those words again, or missing her laughter, her teases, and her constant messages during my radio shows. Each shift will certainly feel like something is missing.

Although we were not related by blood, she felt like family.

She was loved dearly by her family and friends, to whom I offer my sincerest condolences. May her memory live on.

I had all intentions of showcasing her for my Supporter Spotlight this week after we took this photo just days before her passing. So this time, I showcase my ultimate supporter.

I love you, Rocket, and may your soul attain moksha.
