Second stop in the motorhome was to my grandmothers cabin 🏚️ In the 1940s, my grandmother and her sisters were born in this little house in Jämtland, Sweden. Life here was very simple and farming was their way of life here.🐄

The house never had modern comfort. The previous owner even cut the power line to the house, because the bill was “too high,” and it’s remained without electricity ever since. ⚡️ Running water is not a thing either. I visited a few times as a child, but coming back now with my husband and daughter felt incredibly special.

Both my grandmother and grandfather have passed, and I know they would have loved to see us standing on that porch together. The house is still in the family and I hope we can visit again soon 🤍✨

Do you ever think about where your family comes from? How they lived, what they sacrificed, and the strength it took for us to be here today 🤍

Welcome to Sweden’s beautiful alpine country, this is what a typical walk along a tiny mountain stream looks like. Crystal clean crisp water, lush green pine forests with an abundance of wild life, found some trees that appear to have been fallen strategically by a beaver. 🦫 On the walk back through the forest found the beautiful reindeer having a nap. 🦌 Snuck up to with in 50m then he caught my scent and come all the way into 5m to investigate me. Amazing experience all in an afternoons walk.

First Stop on our 6 week Europe Trip | Singapore 🇸🇬

We decided to have a long stop over in Singapore so we booked the 24h transit - first flight went amazing with Lily, first ever flight and first ever big mission. ☀️ She went so good, booking the flight with Singapore Airlines you get complimentary forward zone and extra leg space with bassinet. She slept in the bassinet the whole way ✨

LANDING 🛬 in Singapore we got to customs and got pulled over! Thinking nothing of this they scanned the speargun bag and s**t got real really quick!!? SPEARGUNS ARE ILLEGAL WEAPONS IN SINGAPORE! And here we are trying to bring in 2 of them into the country. (We obviously never checked this) Gil got taken away by police for questioning and me and Lily was left behind. Gil talked his way out of it and for sure deal breaker was that we had a new flight out of Singapore just 24h later. They didn’t confiscate the spearguns thank goodness and we did not even get a fine. They did hold the bag at the airport and they sent the bag with our next flight the day after. All is good but gosh so stressful!!! Note to everyone, check if spearguns are legal in the country you’re going to 😅😅

We ordered breakfast in bed in the morning and got out to the gardens by the bay ✨ So beautiful and so hot 🥵 Had a sleep and shower before our next flight to Denmark - 12h and Lily slept 10h in the bassinet again, no problems at all. Nappy changes was easy in the bathrooms and take off and landing was fine with her ears. Flying with out 3 month old to Europe was a success, let’s see how this jet lag will be. ☘️

Didn’t take long to catch our two Spanish mackerel on the trusty Halco Laser Pro, once we’d found the pressure point of this reef. ✨ Pressure points are where the current first hits a reef, this starts the food chain and pelagic’s like this Spanish.

Full sends past the shelf are becoming more frequent with the electric fathom reels. Currently using both the 30 and the 50 🎣 Unfortunately the ruby and flame tail snapper didn’t play the game with a bit too much current but managed to come in a little bit shallower and take home a great feed off goldband Snapper. Their large white flakes off mild delicate moist flesh makes them one off our favourite, that can be cooked almost anyway fish pizzas becoming one off our favourite.
