Full sends past the shelf are becoming more frequent with the electric fathom reels. Currently using both the 30 and the 50 🎣 Unfortunately the ruby and flame tail snapper didn’t play the game with a bit too much current but managed to come in a little bit shallower and take home a great feed off goldband Snapper. Their large white flakes off mild delicate moist flesh makes them one off our favourite, that can be cooked almost anyway fish pizzas becoming one off our favourite.

One week old Lily meets her first tusk fish. As well as two off the boys also getting their first tuskies. Well done boys. 🎯Absolutely loving the new Mahi roller, so easy to manoeuvre but still packs a huge punch. Fish tacos allround thanks to 🌮🌮🌮🐟🐟🐟

Welcome our new addition to the drifter family: our little girl Lily Pauline 💕 Born 7th of May, a healthy 3.3kg | Managed to get a reef trip in too 🪸 Thanks to for supplying us with some new gear to keep our family fed 🐟 Brand new 3.5mm Chameleon Descent Wetsuit and a Mahi Carbon Roller Gun, 90cm 🎯 Thanks heaps, can’t wait to use it throughout this winter!

Gil managed to get this awesome little Barra on the shimma fork vibe from a tough morning session. These guys are deadly on the reef and in the creeks a must have in the tackle box. Comes rigged with owner trebles means they’re ready for big fish straight out off the packet, Perfect size for some fresh Barra burgers tonight 🍔

Massive thanks to for the Airmar SS175L - Low Frequency Transducer. Helping us find the fish in 450m. We were reading the bottom way out to over 550m amazing. Paired with the Penn Fathom 30 making these depths look easy. A Deadly Combination. 🔥 This was our 1st time catching these monsters from the deep and won’t be our last time trying. Absolutely amazing eating, these Ruby Snapper provided many friends and family with delicate succulent white flakes off premium seafood ✨
