Nothing like a little Cederberg getaway! What a special place.

One of the most unique places I’ve ever seen!

Nothing will ever compare to seeing rare and beautiful animals in their natural habitat, but it’s hard to pass up the opportunity to experience and learn about some of these incredible creatures in the Lisbon Oceanarium. They have a massive education, enrichment and conservation program aimed at preserving and funding conservation/ research efforts for animals and ecosystems under pressure.

It has given me new inspiration to seek to learn more about the ocean and all its beautiful inhabitants in their natural habitats. For now these photos will serve as a reminder of what is out there - and that it’s worth the effort to learn and support where you can.

What an incredible journey. Camino De Santiago ✅

We hiked a total of 6 days and covered a distance of 120km ( 200 km on Strava if you consider the additional exploration of the towns and cities ) from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela.

My dream to come to Spain was sparked in 2017, after watching one a film titled “The Way” [2010]. This movie was a big contributor to me deciding to pursue a creative career.

What made this trip extra special was being able to do it with my mom. We have never travelled together before and I’m so proud of her. I pretty much left the house at 14 years old and since then I don’t think we have spent this much time together - Sharing every meal, hotel rooms, some tears, but mostly making jokes on the long climbs through the Spanish countryside. I’m so grateful to have spent this time with her and these are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.

On a more personal level - I was also able to shut down from working for a little bit. I haven’t really taken time off but in the last couple of years and this was such a great way to reconnect my mind and body without dealing with the stresses of running a production company. Feeling motivated to come back bigger, better and stronger.

Swipe to see Japan on film 🎞️

It’s ridiculous how much time and money I have spent in my career trying to improve my “image quality” when it comes to photography. This post is however exactly the opposite.

When I arrived in Tokyo it seemed my film camera didn’t survive transit with one of the most expensive films stocks money can buy already loaded. I arrived at my dream film photography location- without a working film camera.

Long story short I managed to find two super cheap disposable film cameras in a mall in Okinawa, and still managed to get some shots. To my surprise I fell in love with some of the shots and the simplicity of shooting film in its most basic state.

When I decided to dedicate my life to creating art through film I never imagined where the journey would take me. I’m constantly amazed by the opportunities that I’ve been afforded through my passion. Travelling to The Corona Sunsets Fesitval World Tour I was able to go to the Island of Okinawa Japan and connect with some great people and share amazing moments following the sunset to the land of the rising sun 🌅
