At 27 I can confirm the mistakes were pricey, the flights were worth it, and the version of me that put art and meaning first would like to thank the version of me that funded that lesson.
I’m not a big birthday guy, but the last year there has been such a massive shift in who I am as a person. I’ve forced myself to take the time and slow down, sit with my emotions and reaffirm why I will relentlessly pursue the life I’ve always dreamed of. Looking back at some of the highlights over the last year - it reaffirms that even when you feel like everything is going wrong - you are learning and improving every single day. Growth exists only outside your comfort zone and I’m so grateful for showing up for myself - in the work that nobody gets to see.
