Day 3 of the YW4ED Harare Chapter – Zone 2 training in Glen View was a true reflection of transformation on the ground. 💅🏽💄

Young women came out in impressive numbers once again — eager to learn manicure, pedicure, and make-up skills that are not only building confidence but unlocking real economic opportunities.

This program is more than just beauty — it’s about creating self-reliant women, nurturing entrepreneurship, and building a Zimbabwe where no one and no place is left behind.

Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, and the young women of Zone 2 are boldly rising to that call!

YW4ED would like to express heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, and Patron, First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, for their unwavering support and commitment to empowering young women across Zimbabwe.

In line with Vision 2030, real transformation is being witnessed on the ground.

Yesterday marked the beginning of a manicure, pedicure, and make-up training program in Glen View — and today, young women came out in their numbers, eager to gain practical skills and take charge of their economic futures.

This initiative stands as a true reflection of the national vision: “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo.” The young women of Zone 2 are rising to the occasion!

The Land Tenure Program held yesterday at NUST in Bulawayo, organized by Young Women for Economic Development and supported by Sakunda Holdings, was a resounding success. The event featured Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei as Guest of Honour, with key speakers including ICT Minister Tatenda Mavetera, ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Machacha, Bulawayo Minister of State Judith Ncube and guest speaker Presidential Investment Advisor Dr. Paul Tungwarara.The program focused on unlocking youth potential through land ownership and digital empowerment. Empowering youth through land and tech: A successful Land Tenure Program in Bulawayo by Young Women for ED, supported by Sakunda Holdings."
