Yesterday at HICC, we witnessed history being made. H.E President Mnangagwa officially launched the Women’s League Presidential Empowerment Fund under the theme ‘The Power of Empowered Women’.
Our Women’s League received both vehicles and financial support to strengthen their initiatives, while Young Women for ED were blessed with US$500,000 through Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara .
As national members of Young Women for ED, we felt deeply honored to be part of this milestone a true testament to the strides our nation is making in empowering women and driving economic growth.

YW4ED AT THE WOMEN’S LEAGUE PRESIDENTIAL FUND LAUNCH

Young Women 4 Economic Development (YW4ED) extends heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, ZANU PF Secretary for Women’s Affairs, Cde M.M. Chinomona, and Presidential Advisor, Dr. Tungwarara for their unwavering commitment to empowering women and youth. 🙏

At the Women’s League Presidential Fund Launch, the Women’s League was allocated ZWL 3 million, while YW4ED separately received ZWL 500,000 to strengthen initiatives that economically empower young women across Zimbabwe.

This dedicated support is a strong demonstration of inclusive development as Zimbabwe runs towards Vision 2030 and the creation of an upper middle–income economy. 🇿🇼
