On Saturday, the Mashonaland West Hurungwe YW4ED Administration was part of a life-changing event as Tonganyika Trust, in partnership with Honourable R. Ziki, held a graduation ceremony for 300 beneficiaries.
Tonganyika Trust conducted a two-week skills training program in Hurungwe Central, during which YW4ED successfully mobilized 140 first-time voters to join the program.
It was a moment of joy and celebration for the first-time voters, marking a significant step towards empowerment and inclusive development.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Tonganyika Trust, Honourable MP R. Ziki, and His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa for the vision and excellent guidance that continue to transform lives.

The Guest of Honour, Presidential Advisor Dr. Paul Tungwarara, today officiated and handed over the Presidential Constituency Fund disbursement in Zimunye, Marange, in support of Vision 2030.
The event was attended by the ZANU PF Manicaland Chapter leadership and thousands of supporters, with the Young Women 4 Economic Development (YW4ED) Manicaland Chapter present in support of the program.

Yesterday, Young Women 4 Economic Development (YW4ED) conducted a Mukando distribution program in UMP District, a district under Mashonaland East Province.
The Mashonaland East Chapter, which is led by Cde Farai Chinomona, continues to register meaningful impact at district level through empowerment-focused initiatives.
The event was graced by the YW4ED National Executive in charge of Mashonaland East, Cde Nyasha Mhonda, who also officiated as the Guest of Honour, alongside Cde Fagio Maroca, also a National Executive in charge of Mashonaland East. The program was also attended by ZANU PF leadership from UMP District, demonstrating strong political support and unity in advancing women’s economic empowerment.
In her address, Cde Nyasha Mhonda emphasized women’s economic empowerment as a key driver towards the attainment of Vision 2030, and she expressed gratitude to His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, for his visionary leadership and continued support for initiatives that uplift young women and communities.
The following items were distributed to beneficiaries:
5 wardrobes
4 pairs of chairs
2 beds with mattresses
2 gas tanks
1 generator
1 water pump
8 bags of fertilizer
3 fridges
4 solar panels (450 watts)
5 kitchen units
Door frames and meranti (marata)
The program reaffirmed YW4ED’s unwavering commitment to empowering young women, strengthening local economies, and contributing meaningfully to the realization of Vision 2030.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to His Excellency, Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, for the continued empowerment programmes that are transforming lives across the country.
Yesterday, a Presidential Goat Pass-On Project was successfully conducted at Ntengwe Manjolo Centre in Binga, aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting economic empowerment, with young women in Binga being the direct beneficiaries of this noble initiative.
The event was graced by Hon. Chineka Muchimba, alongside ZANU PF local leadership. The programme was hosted by Cde Norah, Chairperson for Young Women for Economic Development, Mat North Chapter, whose leadership and coordination contributed to the success of the programme.
Members of Young Women 4 E.D. (YW4ED) and other local leaders were also present, reflecting unity, commitment, and strong support for development initiatives being implemented under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa.

All seven district chairpersons of Young Women 4 E.D. in Matabeleland South, under the leadership of Provincial Chapter Chairperson, Cllr Fortunate Gundu, have been equipped with tablets to enhance communication and coordination at the grassroots level. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery, empower our members, and ensure that our communities remain well-informed and connected.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, President of Zimbabwe, for his continued support and commitment to empowering young women and advancing development in our province. His guidance and encouragement play a critical role in enabling us to serve our communities effectively.

Young Women 4 Economic Development joins the rest of the nation in mourning and paying final respects to Brigadier General (Rtd) Mathius Tizirai Ngarava at the National Heroes Acre. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family, the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, and the entire nation as we honour a gallant son of the soil whose service and sacrifice contributed immensely to the sovereignty and security of our country. The burial is being led by the Chief Mourner, Acting President Cde. Dr. C.D.G.N. Chiwenga, reflecting the nation’s collective gratitude and respect for the late national hero.
