It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we, the Young Women for ED, and the entire ZANU PF party are mourning the untimely passing of our beloved Gender Champion and Head of Media for YW4ED Harare Chapter , Cde. Kudakwashe Mapiye.
Cde. Mapiye was a formidable force, a loyal party cadre, and a true champion for the ideals we hold dear. His unwavering dedication to telling the ZANU PF story and his passionate support for the visionary leadership of His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa were an inspiration to us all.

As Young Women 4 Economic Development, we particularly remember him as a Gender Champion who genuinely believed in and advocated for women’s voices and our role in the political landscape. His encouragement and belief in our potential will forever be etched in our hearts.

His vibrant spirit, sharp intellect, and commitment have been tragically silenced. We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew and loved him.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. Your legacy lives on in our hearts .

Young Women 4 Economic Development attended the ZANU PF Inter-District Meeting held at Gwanzura Stadium, Highfield, where there was an introduction of newly appointed Central Committee members and feedback from the ZANU PF 22nd Conference.

Notable names include Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, new Central Committee member and Chairperson of Land Tenure, and Dr. P. Tungwarara, Presidential Advisor.

Yesterday we were at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) supporting the ZICOSU team ahead of the upcoming SRC elections.

As Young Women 4ED, led by Head of Students Nyasha Mhonda and the Mashonaland West Chapter under Cde Sibo, we continue to stand firm in promoting President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa’s vision for youth empowerment and leadership.
