This week, we welcome Sarah Safeer, a product manager in digital consulting based in New York City who learned early to prioritize experiences over things, and who has traveled to 54 countries while building a work-hard, play-hard lifestyle grounded in nature and adventure.

Sarah shares her evolution from a shy child to a confident solo traveler, sparked by a study abroad semester in Florence that ignited a lifelong focus on new experiences and exploration, and a commitment to blend hard work with meaningful adventure.

In this episode, we highlight her solo W Trek in Chilean Patagonia’s Torres del Paine National Park, a five-day, four-night hut-to-hut hike she chose as a 25th-birthday gift to herself, and we discuss solo female travel, balancing city life with mountain time, the empowerment of traveling alone, and how she has designed a life that merges ambition with exploration.

🌈RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - Is this for real?🌈

Vinicunca — known as Montaña de Siete Colores (“Mountain of Seven Colors”) — rises 17,060 ft (5,200 m) above sea level in the Peruvian Andes. The striking stripes come from mineral deposits revealed by time and weather, and the views are every bit as awe-inspiring as the photos suggest. 🌈⛰️

Next May, I’ll be hiking the Inca Trail, camping under the stars, exploring ancient ruins, and visiting this breathtaking mountain as part of a small group journey. It’s an adventure designed as a crucible for growth, connection, and wonder.
