I heard they have unbelievably raw coastlines in Surigao, but never did I imagine this...

One of my friends says:

"Kulas! Let's go on a coastal road-trip!"

Of course I was down for the adventure. But never could I have imagined that we literally would be "driving along the coast" of Surigao Del Sur! This absolutely blew my mind!! A stretch of beach with powdery sand that stretches farther than your eyes can see... It just keeps going and going and going! It must be close to 10km long!

We literally drove right along it all the way to the mouth of a river. If you look at a photo on my instagram (BecomingFilipino) you will see that a large section of this area is actually lined with coconut trees. I still can't believe this place...

We drove the whole coast. Saw zero people, and zero footprints. This was the most epic adventure I have had with Cindy my scooter yet!

Mindanao is INCREDIBLE.

One day at a time, One empty beautiful coastline at a time...
