Hyper-Tropicalismo is a boundary-pushing EP from Puerto Rican-Congolese producer Ibn Itaka.
A global collaboration featuring artists from Puerto Rico, Seville, Bolivia, London, Los Angeles, and Royan, the EP seamlessly blends hard-house, jungle, Latin-core, and trance with broken dancehall riddims, industrial reggaeton, and dembow drums.

The project is a vivid tapestry of cultural and electronic influences, pushing the limits of modern dance music.

5 new tracks produced between 2024 and August 2025, the EP navigates between club music, bass, breaks, heady vocal samples, probably more than usual and captivating melodies, creating a hybrid and powerful universe.

A new project from Sevenbeatz, at the head of the label, the producer keeps on producing and releasing, a journey this time into Bass music, spiced up with Breaks, some percussion and electronic rave synth flavor as usual.

« There’s a little anectode behind the title Mouse Family, I recently shared a flat with a family of mice this summer, 8 to be exact lol, as I’m quite sensitive to noise.
It’s made me a bit paranoid about the slightest noise, with insomnia and more...
So I decided to produce a sound on an insomniac night during this period, just to get over my nerves haha, and that’s how Mouse Family came to be part of this project, even though it wasn’t originally planned. »
