✨ What does it mean to be courageous? ✨

Courage isn’t about being fearless—it’s about facing your fears, even when your knees are shaking.

Sometimes courage looks like stepping into the unknown, standing firm in the face of difficulty, or daring to keep going when things feel heavy. Other times, it’s as simple (and profound) as getting up each morning and trying again.

Courage isn’t a single battle. It’s a quiet, steady choice we make in our everyday lives—choosing growth, change, and hope, even when it’s uncomfortable.

May we never stop being courageous.

I have a dentist appointment today, which I’m not looking forward to. But, I know it’s good for me. When they’re working on my teeth I will close my eyes and visualize this image and quote.

What is your favorite thing about Autumn?

I am enjoying being able to take our dogs out for walks in the evenings. Pretty soon it will be cool enough to start hiking on Saturday mornings again. ♥

My husband and I have been slowly making our way through the TV series with Michael Landon. We are thoroughly enjoying it. Have you read or watched the TV series?

I adored these as a kid and I read literally all the books and the books about Lara’s daughter and grandmothers, etc. The TV series follows their adventures of their ups and downs of what it meant to live during the Pioneer years. Highly recommend them.

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love watching the leaves change and seeing all the beautiful autumn colors. 🍁 It’s the perfect season for slowing down, gathering with family and friends, and enjoying cozy moments.

Here in Arizona it’s still over 100° during the day (last night it was 95! 😅), but the mornings and evenings are finally starting to cool off a little. I can’t wait for the real crisp air to arrive so we can start going on our walks and hikes with the dogs again. 🐾

When you feel like giving up, remember this: the power to get through difficult times has always been within you. It’s in your resilience, your ability to stand back up, and your refusal to quit when things get tough. I find my courage to get through difficult times when I reach out to God. He helps get me through the storms of life.
