I'm super excited for how this small group is developing. I originally offered Sunday afternoons, but soon realized it actually didn't work for MY schedule, as well as other people who were interested.

We've now settled on Tuesday evenings, beginning in October.

I'll reach back out to those who have sent me messages initially, but I wanted to share one more time about our "coming-home" cohort.

What kind of emotional and personal breakthroughs would you love to have before thanksgiving this year? How would you like to go into the holidays with a bit more presence of mind, body and spirit?

I'd love to bring you along this journey as I share the practices and workshops that have facilitated so much growth and change in my own life. We will do a little yoga, a little meditation, some journaling, maybe some crying and shouting into pillows, but overall there will be holding space for what needs to be seen and heard within you.

Lets come back home to ourselves, together.

I am inviting 6 women to join me for an 8 week series of "coming home" to ourselves.

We will meet on Sunday afternoons this fall, giving us an opportunity to find time and a safe space to embrace ourselves in ways which we may not have done before.

I'll be sharing my knowledge and experience with yoga, meditation, skin and body care, and other mental/emotional wellness practices to guide the group through the transitions in their lives and finding breakthroughs and peace along the way.

This message is for all the people who can't just "pick a thing." Or are accused of chasing the "shiny ball."

These are all of the hats I've comfortably worn in the last month:

United Methodist Preaching team.
Licensed Esthetician (Brazilian waxing, facials, lash enhancements)
Social Media Manager (Chromat Skincare)
Marketing Copywriter
Social Media Content Creator
Mental Health Advocate
Values-based Marketing Coach

- And that's just what I've been up to lately.

All of this is to say that your passions and gifts might land you in the most odd combination of spaces that only make sense to you and the One who created you.

Surrender to the multifaceted, multi-talented life that is beckoning you. It sure as heck won't be linear. It will likely be hard to explain to the average person. It will take time to sus out the details and find a rhythm.

But you are called here to follow YOUR path with all the seemingly chaotic turns. Reject the notion from society that it has to "make sense" or have clear outcome.

God will place the people and opportunities in your life in due time, and you will be prepared because you had a deep dive into a passion project years prior that didn't quite pan out.

Don't let others make you feel bad when they can't put their finger on you. It may be that they just can't see the undercurrent of your love, light and compassion that guide every creative and inspired move.

Or more likely, they've bought into the illusion that predictability and fitting in a box are more safe than exploring the edges of their comfort zone and experiencing the joy of co-creating life with our Creator.

Go start the new thing that you're being called to.

We explored our collective values and beliefs, and how to make that translate into raising the vibration of our guests’ experiences! We are here to serve more than skin. I had a fellow esthi once brag to me that her video of a facial mask removal had over 100k vi3ws. She said her books were about to blow up!

I loved her enthusiasm - and it reminded me of when I was there too - where I thought that having content that received views + likes meant that the moolah would follow.

Unfortunately, our presence on socials is more complicated than that.

She had no call-to-action in her post. She had no personal connection or branding signature. She had no real way to convert the content into what she was hoping for. She was just making an impression, not a connection.

We can double tap in less than a second. Views can be half mindless. Entertainment is fun to be sure!

But the quality content that connects? Truth is the rhythm of Al Gore may not show YOU the real impact.

I have had a brand new client once tell me that a particular post made them book - when I had MAYBE 4 interactions looking back- and one was from my mom 🥰 (and none from her!)

It resonated with + spoke to her on a level that built trust + confidence enough for her to FOLLOW THROUGH and go from a "lurking fan" to a real live body on a table. 🙌✨️

So babe, don't go for the notifications in IG or the clock app. Go for the notifications in your booking app. ✔️
