We have been busy this past week and weekend getting the boys expansion on their pasture started. Of course we grow rocks here and we grow them well, so digging holes not only when it is dry dry but also when you hit rock inches down is not fun. This gave us the perfect time to try.out the new rock bit. With a little bit of finagling to get down pressure we were off, albeit not fast. We have the main posts set and we are now ready to pull and stretch the fence and add the t posts. Fingers crossed we find some places with no rocks planted. The area we are fencing is totally grew up with lots of weeds and brushes and briar patches (ask me how I know 🤣). They should love it and it will almost triple the size of their pasture. As they eat it down we will start to clear out some of it and eventually sew it with things they like to eat. Now the next question will be if I can get them away from the girls long enough to try it out once it's done. Also, im fairly sure the girls believe this is for them amd are keeping an eye on us. The boys are not paying any attention most of the time, although I have caught them meandering closer to see what we are doing and Pogo keeps staring me down trying to figure out what we are doing. I have a feeling when we open this ee are going to have some happy boys and some mad girls 🤣. Also dont mind the mess, we hadn't cleaned up yet. Oh yeah I also threw in a pic I snapped by the pond of some of our resident turtles. The little stuck around to allow me shots, the big one pretty much told me I didnt have his permission as he rolled back in the water..😆
