Apple Vision Pro M5: buy, skip, or save? 🥽

Apple kept the M5 Vision Pro at $3,499, so if that price already felt wild, I don’t blame you. The good news is the original Vision Pro can easily be found on the used market for less than half that!

If you already own the original, spending another $3,500 is a hard sell. In that case, grab the new dual-knit band instead, it makes a big comfort.

If you are buying fresh and have the budget, the M5’s quality of life upgrades make it the better long term move. 🙌🏽

Nintendo’s $300 mistake, explained. 🥸

Parents thought the Wii U gamepad was an add-on, not a whole new console. The reveal focused on the controller, the ads didn’t clarify the box, and confusion snowballed into weak sales and empty shelves.

Which is tragic, because the games were SO GOOD. Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Smash…an elite lineup trapped on a system most people didn’t understand.

The best travel monitor isn’t a monitor at all 🥽

I get real work done in Apple Vision Pro. The Mac Virtual Display can stretch to an ultra-wide that’s equal to dual 5K screens. On a plane or in a hotel, I’m editing in Final Cut with notes, Safari, and Messages all visible.

Battery life is up to 2.5 hours for general use and 3 hours for video playback thanks to M5 too. 🔋
